TAPIOCA is a teen specialty group with interest and experience in drama and a desire to share with girls around
the council. Girls write, stage, and perform original skits about contemporary issues. Auditions for this group are
held in the summer of each year. A training retreat gives new participants extensive information about issues such as child abuse, teen pregnancy, substance abuse prevention, AIDS and date rape. New girl-developed skits are added to the repertoire each year.
TAPIOCA is available to perform no more than twice a month for no longer than an hour at a time. The group prefers to have an audience of at least 50 people.
To request a TAPIOCA performance use the form on page F-4  of the BIG BOOK of PROGRAM and mail it to the council office
