Lease from the National Park Service, Misty Mount was first use by Prince Georges Girl Scout Council, later called Southern Maryland GSC in 1938 and was use by GSCNC until the lease was cancelled when the property was renovated and used for press housing for the famous Middle East Peace Accords meeting known as "The Walk in the Woods" at Camp David. in the 1980's.
